What happens when your favorite fast food chain starts handing out “free” food? Joy.
Through September 29, 2018, Chick-Fil-A is giving out free nuggets to customers who use their mobile app.
If you’re a fan of Chick-Fil-A, go grab your nuggets at your nearest Chick-Fil-A location for free. To claim your nuggets, there are few procedures you will have to follow.
- Download the Chick-Fil-A mobile app and sign into your account.
- Click on the button labeled “rewards” at the bottom. Then press “My rewards”.
- You will see two options: Eight-count regular nuggets or eight-count grilled nuggets.
- You can either select to a mobile order or walk into your closest Chick-Fil-A location and scan it there.
However, you have to be careful when you go there because many Chick-Fil-A locations are closed on Sundays.
Chick Fil-A also celebrates free food on “Cow Celebration Day” every year on July 10th. To participate in this event, you would have to make or buy your cow costume and wear it to a participating Chick-Fil-A location between opening and 7pm. They started this event in 1995, when a promotional renegade cow painted brushed, “EAT MOR CHIKIN” on a Texas billboard. From that day forward, these cows increased their messages to appreciate the monumental efforts of the cows through television, radio, social media, and on the occasional water tower. The company is persuading people to eat more chicken than beef. Throughout this promotion, Chick-Fil-A created a “Cow calendar.” The Cow Calendar holders can enjoy one free offer such as Chicken Sandwich, any size of coca cola fountain beverages of your choice, or spicy chicken sandwich, nuggets (original/grilled), waffle potato fries, or a mystery offer.
Kaitlyn White, senior lead of the membership program states, “We want to thank the millions of customers who have joined Chick-Fil-A on our mobile app, and this is just a small way to show our appreciation for dining with us.”
From this free giveaway, Chick-Fil-A wants to more customers to visit and taste the delicious food they offer in the best quality. It was the first fast food chain that will go antibiotic-free by the year of 2019. Today is the last day of this promotion, so go to your nearest Chick-Fil-A location!
