The Benefits of Spring Cleaning: Decluttering Your Home and Your Mind
As the days grow longer and the weather improves, many people feel a renewed sense of energy and motivation. Spring represents a new beginning, a time to shake off the heaviness of winter and embrace a fresh start. One of the best ways to welcome the season is through spring cleaning. A tradition that goes beyond simply tidying up. Decluttering can have a powerful impact on both your home and your mental well-being, creating space for positivity and a sense of control.

For many people, cleaning can be difficult due to the amount of time or effort it takes to complete it, but even those with busy schedules find comfort in clearing out messy spaces. Avaleigh Quinton, a sophomore at Leonia High School exclaimed, “Honestly, even with having such a busy schedule and so many sports, I love the feeling of control after cleaning.” A tidy space can create a sense of order, helping people feel more in charge of their surroundings.
