Coral Fashion Trend

Coral (orange with hints of pink undertones) and other colours in the orange family have dominated the catwalks in the fashion industry and the hallways of Leonia High School. Why has this colour gained so much popularity this year?

Although spring technically began in March 21st, many of us began to experience spring-like weather in late February. Mother Nature has been kind to us this year, and coral is popular because it is a vibrant colour which highlights our good spirits about the weather. Moreover, it is an appealing, unsex colour that complements one main aspect of spring: the sun. Other fashion experts claim that the colour is sophisticated and suitable for all skin shades and ages, and including this colour in one’s outfit rules out the need for jewelry and other accessories.

The weather is only going to get better, so I bet this is not the last that we will see of corals!
