LHS Ceramics Students Featured in Local Exhibit

Several of Ms. Capurso’s Ceramics I and Advanced Ceramics students are participating in an exhibit for “Youth in Art Month,” sponsored by the Art Educators of New Jersey (AENJ). Shown at the Philip J. Triarco Learning Center at Bergen Community College in Hackensack, their works are part of a display celebrating art in grades K-12 in Bergen County. Various sculptures, containers, and lanterns created by LHS students are on display. The exhibit is open to the public throughout March, 2012, including a reception to be held on Thursday, March 22, at 6:00 p.m. The student exhibit features work by freshmen Ursula Castiblanco, Amanda Figueredo, and Kassem Mansour; sophomores Gabrielle Alvarez, Lois Yoonseo Choi, Estrella Guzman, Alyssa Molina, Lindsay Russell, Ida Sato, and Ha Eun Yang; and juniors Zoe Edelman, Shu Rong, and Sarah Rosenbloom.
