The Jams in Leonia

Music is a really important part of any teenager’s life, especially when it comes to getting back to school. I interviewed different people in the Leonia High School community to see what their back to school songs were. I broke it down into 3 sections: favorite song/hype song, study song, and the song playing in your head when you walk in the hallway.

Abir Bhattacharya, a sophomore, said “My current favorite song is “Golden Hour” by JVKE, a study song I like listening to is lofi beat and hall way song is “I was Never There” by The Weeknd.”

Aidan George, a sophomore as well stated “When I am trying to get hype in the morning I listen to is “Party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus and when I am studying I like to listen to any Drake song.”

As for myself, my favorite song is “Escape from LA by the Weeknd, my study song would be any soft classical music and for the hallway song it would be “Escape from LA” as well because I love that song so much.
